OWLS IN JUNE
Looking a further month ahead, our subjects for June are 'Owls' - those pics taken at the May meeting photoshoot, or as an alternative - 'Owl Trail'. The Owl Trail is designed to take you on a tour of Holt to find fascinating facts, interesting anecdotes and details of additional ‘looped trails’ revealing some of Holt’s hidden locations. It comprises 24 'reference points' identified by individual plaques. Each of these is fully detailed on the Holt Owl Trail web site www.holtowltrail.co.uk/
The DPG idea for this subject, kindly created by Bev and Gracie, is to take photos whilst following the Owl Trail around Holt. A trail booklet is available and if you ask Gracie nicely, she may let you have one! It highlights things to look out for on the route - you may see things you’ve never noticed before, -
and don’t forget to look up!
All pics for this subject should be taken from the Holt Owl Trail, or close by, and if possible include these categories:

Submissions
Monthly Subjects:
To have your pics shown at our meetings and/or included on the VP, we ask that you submit up to six pictures prior to each meeting, as detailed on our NEXT MONTH page.
'Before' and 'After' options can be part of your 6 pic submission, or you can submit 6 different pics, or a combination of both. Please let us know which is your individual favourite.
If you're not sure how to submit pics, please ask. We'll be only too pleased to help get you on to the VP.
If you're unable to attend a particular meeting, still send us your pics on the relevant subject and let us know you won't be there. Your pics won't be shown or discussed at the meeting, but they will be included on the Viewing Platform the following week. And don't forget to tell us all about them and how you created them. All members' personal favourites will continue to be published on the HKVH site.
Randoms:
Members are encouraged to contribute to both our monthly subjects and to our 'Randoms' page.
'Randoms' can be on any subject. They are only published on the VP and are NOT shown at meetings.
Remember, all contributions to the VP are welcome and included.
We suggest 2 pics and/or a link to a video you have created, to be submitted on the same dates detailed on our 'NEXT MONTH' page. They will be included in the VP update, the following week. Please mark them clearly for the 'Randoms' page. Full details are here: randoms_page_open_v2.pdf
